Job Description:
We are seeking a Payroll Clerk for our Head Office located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
The Payroll Clerk performs general accounting and administrative duties for the payroll function. The Payroll Clerk will manage and oversee payroll for the Saskatoon, Lloydminster and Regina locations.
The position reports to the Controller.
Duties:
    Data entry for all payroll functions
    Processing of bi-weekly payroll
    Update a variety of reports and spreadsheets related to payroll
    Respond to enquiries related to information in the payroll and accounting system
    General HR duties including administering a Collective Bargaining Agreement, benefits and processing new hire information, records of employment, etc.
    Distribute and file accounting and payroll related documents
Qualifications:
    Certificate/diploma in related discipline
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
    Ability to act with the required discretion when handling confidential information
    Strong organizational skills and high level of detail orientation
    Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    Demonstrated skill in the operation of Microsoft Office and knowledge and experience with accounting software
