CROP PRODUCTION ADVISOR
You will develop and maintain effective business relations with current and potential customers, based on an approach to target customers that would result in a profitable business relationship and provide agronomic information and advice to current and potential customers arranging for access to specialists and learning opportunities where necessary.
You will research and respond to technical inquiries, maintain and analyze a database/record of customer profiles (product usage and service requirements) to identify, categorize, and prioritize customer base and communicate a variety of information and recommendations to staff and customers.
You will maintain knowledge of product offerings, including features, benefits, and uses and champion a culture of care and comply with industry regulatory, and EH&S standards
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY?
5+ years of progressively responsible agri-business and/or other related customer service function would be ideal
Entry level candidates, right out of university, or Canadian Newcomers, that are willing to work in a remote rural location and prove themselves, will also be considered.
Post-secondary education in Agriculture; an equivalent in experience may be considered
Must possess a valid Canadian drivers license
CCA or P.Ag. accreditation, or willingness to obtain
