LLOYDMINSTER CATHOLIC SCHOOL DIVISION (LCSD)

Full-Time Head Caretaker (Temporary)

We are seeking to hire a full-time Temporary Head Caretaker for a Lloydminster Catholic elementary school. LCSD consists of five elementary schools and one high school all located within the Lloydminster City limits.

The head caretaker position is responsible for ensuring a safe and clean environment for students, staff, and visitors.  This role involves overseeing the daily cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and performing deep cleaning and floor refinishing during non-instructional school days.

Education required:
-    Minimum Grade 12
-    Current WHMIS certification
-    Demonstrates knowledge of the cleaning industry including current practices.
-    Demonstrates knowledge of building maintenance procedures and practices.
-    Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning process, products, and equipment.

Skills & Abilities:
-    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
-    Ability to work as a team player.
-    Ability to display a positive work attitude.
-    Great communication skills.
-    Ability to execute written and oral instructions to ensure safe use of caretaking supplies and the operation of equipment of fellow staff.
-    Ability to perform basic maintenance functions.

This position is full-time Monday to Friday.  Wages range is between $21.62-$28.28 per hour plus a maintenance allowance.
