Description

To fulfill Pattison Agricultures vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Trucking Coordinator to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in either Yorkton, Humboldt, or Swift Current, SK. As a Coordinator, you will assist in directing trucking operations for all Pattison Ag locations, optimizing processes and efficiencies while ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
This individuals responsibilities include:
- Schedule trucking needs for all Pattison Ag locations; hauling, pulling, & piloting
- Coordinate all trucking staff; semi drivers, pull drivers and pilot drivers
- Maintain schedule using software
- Work with Lead Coordinator to set priorities and organize all emergency trucking situations
- Provides estimates of trucking costs for internal/external customers
- Issue Over Dimensional permits as needed
- Verify all inventory movement within the dept
- Back up Admin in record keeping, performance tracking, and will-call duties

Requirements
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers
- Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent Computer Skills including Word and Excel
- Well-organized, problem solver
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
- Valid drivers license required
- Knowledge of trucking and/or agricultural industry is an asset
- Previous admin experience in transportation is an asset
