Living Skies Housing Authority provides technical support to the Saskatchewan Housing Authority and is currently hiring for a Contract Administration Clerk. The position can be located in either Living Skies' Regina or Saskatoon office. If you are an organized, energetic and professional administrator, we would love to hear from you!
What you will do:
review, reconcile, and prepare payment certificates for all contractor and consultant progress applications related to new construction and renovation projects
create and maintain contract ledgers for new construction and renovation projects
conduct financial analysis, research, and develop reports
coordinate inspections for housing repair programs
administer & track expenses under the administration budget
prepare & process travel expense claims, and review timesheets for HTO employees
provide administrative support to the business unit as required
What we are looking for:
an effective communicator with strong financial and analytical skills
an efficient and experienced user of Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
the ability to confidently collaborate with colleagues, contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, SHC, housing authorities, and tenants
strong people skills, a team player, conflict resolution skills
knowledge of budget and payment processes
effective time manager
What you will need:
Completion of a certificate in Administration or Accounting
2+ years of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of education & experience
The position is classified as a unionized SGEU office employee position.
Hours: Monday Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Annual salary range: $45,128 - $56,560
