What youll do:
Reporting to the Hardware Manager, the Hardware/Lumber Associate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the Hardware/Lumber Department. This position requires working days, and some Saturdays and the successful candidate will be scheduled according to the needs of the business.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers.
Being dependable for all scheduled shifts.
Processing member transactions in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Operating and maintaining all equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner.
Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards.
Adhering to all Turtleford Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program, including all the required PPE.
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Organizational skills and great time management.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently in a team environment.
Product knowledge is required to assist customers with any request.
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service.
Sense of urgency.
Ability to lift up to 50Ibs unassisted.
