Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Produce Team Leader at our Food Store location in Nipawin, Saskatchewan.

What youll do:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives with a strong customer-focused approach
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels
Lead a culture of safety and maximize operational efficiency
Effectively lead, coach, and manage the development and direction of the reporting team members
Oversee the sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and sales for the department
Provide training to reporting team members for all store duties
Complete all necessary daily reports as required, including daily invoices, claims, and reconciliations
Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures, and train team members accordingly
Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise, as per company policy and standard, with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards
Perform minor repairs to assets, as required
Complete other duties, as required

Who You Are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
You have a grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience; background in the retail produce industry is considered an asset
You have retail experience in a supervisory role; Co-operative Retailing System and Produce experience is considered an asset
You have the ability to fulfill extensive physical labour job requirements  standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and frequent operation of a pallet jack
