POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Protection Supervisor, the Child Protection Worker is responsible for aiding individuals, families and the community to develop life skills and acquire resources needed to enhance and improve social functioning. The Protection Worker will support and work closely with the Prevention department ensuring the successful delivery of protection services while actively liaising with community staff, leadership and membership. They will work with community staff and leadership to promote the services as well as support proper referral pathways for the client group. This role further requires the Child Protection Worker to develop and support sustainable relationships with the client base, leadership, staff and membership.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Indigenous Social/Social Work
Knowledge of Saskatchewan Child & Family Services Act, the FSIN Child Welfare & Family Support Act, Policy & Procedures Manual for Family Centered Services (MSS)
Submission of current CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Class 5 Drivers
