GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reporting to the Provincial Manager, Financial Services, the Accounting Clerk is responsible for a variety of general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling general ledger accounts/bank statements, assists in maintaining the fixed asset ledger, as well as performing month/year end procedures which includes the generation and distribution of financial statements and financial analysis of accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Diploma in Business Administration/Accounting plus two (2) years previous relevant experience in a comparable accounting environment using financial software/systems; OR Accounting Certificate plus five (5) years previous relevant experience in a comparable accounting environment using financial software/systems.
