Overview

The Saskatchewan Research Councils (SRC) Finance Division has an opening for a Financial Analyst.


Accountabilities

Participate in the budgeting and financial reporting processes

Review and make recommendations on revenue-generating opportunities

Provide analytical advice and support to managers and project leaders

Prepare analyses and reports related to SRCs financial operations, contractual agreements and new business opportunities

Communicate with clients to discuss contracts, answer queries and provide information

Communicate with service providers to request information, discuss contracts and deadlines



Qualifications

Two to five years of financial accounting or financial management experience with a CPA designation or equivalent

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint



Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to deliver quality work in a team environment

Possess a collaborative work style with excellent organizational and analytical skills  

Familiar with Power BI and ERP systems



The chosen candidate will be required to provide an original Criminal Record Check that is satisfactory to SRC prior to the commencement of any employment duties. The Criminal Record Check must have been executed within the preceding 30 days of receipt.
