Join our team as an Early Childhood Educator!

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact working with Children? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator to provide care for the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs of toddlers and young children in a safe and healthy environment. The Early Childhood Educator collaborates with the supervisor and all other members of the program team to provide nurturing care, project-based learning, and developmentally appropriate activities in a group setting. The Early Childhood Educator works in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the family treatment Centre.

Duties and Responsibilities

Services
     * Develop and implement daily activities based on EELC programming, balancing educator-led and child-directed approaches.
     * Collaborate with team members to adapt programming to the needs of each child.
     * Document observations and assessments for the supervisor.
     * Support childrens overall development.
     * Assist in preparing nutritious meals and snacks.
     * Adjust the environment to meet evolving program needs.
     * Follow supervision policies and procedures as outlined in the EELC Parent Handbook.
     * Administer medication according to EELC policies.
     * Complete all reports and documentation accurately and on time.
     * Participate in meetings, workshops, and training as requested.
     * Perform other related duties as assigned.
Leadership
     * Provide direction, guidance, and mentorship to new employees, practicum students, and volunteers.
     * Demonstrate positive role modeling and uphold agency values.
     * Communicate and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team as needed.
