POSITION SUMMARY: This position is bound by the Social Work Code of Ethics. The Protection Supervisor provides direct supervision to all family service workers and volunteers in the program. Ensures that policies, regulations and mandates related to child welfare are adhered to. Ensures that client files and other related files are accurate and current. As Protection Supervisor they will act as QBOWs liaison between in-community and outside-community agencies, schools, programs, and services. They will assess the training needs of family service workers and arrange for training as required. Make recommendations to the Manager of Family Services where improvements are needed relating to the delivery of services, maintenance of the department and the management of the staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work/Social Work
Five (5) years' experience supervisor/management in child welfare
Best practicing Child Family Service delivery
Submission of current CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Check
Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a reliable vehicle
Maintain Confidentiality - Sign Oath of Confidentiality
