Spark People Solutions is currently recruiting an Accountant on behalf of BTN Chartered Professinal Accountants - a progressive Chartered Professional Accountants firm in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.

The start date for this position is flexible.

This role is responsible for providing taxation, accounting, bookkeeping, auditing and other engagements to a wide variety of clients within the agricultural, retail, manufacturing, service and other sectors.

Qualifications and Key Attributes

- A keen attention to detail
- Ability to work with a diverse client base
- Works effectively under pressure
- Self motivated
- Strong communication skills (both written & oral, in English)
- Working knowledge of accounting software programs such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, Quickbooks and Sage 50
- Accounting designation, an asset
- Post secondary Diploma or Degree in commerce, accounting, or finance, an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of pervious accounting/bookkeeping responsibility

Compensation package is based on both experience and education.

Applicants must have authorization to work in Canada and have experience with Canadian accounting practices.
