Quint is a dynamic community-based organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and positive change in Saskatoons core neighbourhoods. Our team is passionate about creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for the neighbourhoods we serve through our work in affordable housing, employment, and social enterprise. We are seeking a dedicated individual for our Cultural Coordinator position to lead our reconciliation efforts. This role involves both internal support and external community engagement to foster cultural connections. DUTIES:
Develop and implement culturally relevant programs and practices that support Indigenous employees of our social enterprise programs.
Provide guidance and support to management and staff on integrating Indigenous perspectives and practices into the workplace.
Collaborate with team members to organize cultural awareness training and events, fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace
Support the well-being of Indigenous employees by offering culturally appropriate resources and advice.
Collaborate with community Elders and Indigenous organizations to enhance the cultural competency of the workplace.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Indigenous cultures, traditions, and community dynamics
Experience working with Indigenous communities or in a role that required significant cultural competence.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across diverse groups.
Experience in program development and implementation.
Understanding of the challenges and barriers faced by Indigenous individuals in the workforce.
Drivers License and own vehicle

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in a mentorship or support role
Public speaking and networking skills
