Description

KIT Recruitment is continuing our successful partnership with our client in the agricultural/farming Industry who is looking for a Quality Assurance Grader in North Battleford, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The Quality Assurance Grader is responsible for the grading, storage and distribution of grains. They test and classify the grains based on government regulations and provide technical support to inspectors and elevator staff.

Quality Assurance Grader Details
-Monday thru Friday (with the ability to work 2 shifts (7:00-3:30 or 3:00-11:30).
-$24 - $28 per hour
-2 weeks vacation
-Benefits after 90 days
-RRSP match*

Quality Assurance Grader Responsibilities
Ensure received grain meets quality standards as per the contract
Assign locations/bins for unloading
Grade commodities to meet contract specifications
Control product quality to meet contract specifications
Practice good housekeeping and ensure a sanitary workplace
Maintain CFIA Phytosanitary sampling paperwork for submission

Grader / Product Quality Assurance Qualifications
Experience in a grain terminal or grain facility or on a farm a MUST.
Experience working with grain buyers is an asset
Understanding of grain grading standards (e.g., lentil, chickpea, etc.).
Attention to detail.
Ability to work 2 shifts (7:00-3:30 or 3:00-11:30).
Certification in grain grading is a MUST
