Description

KamKids Daycare Inc. is seeking a full-time Early Childhood Educator Supervisor, to start immediately. We are a government licensed facility operating from the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, closed STAT holidays.

We are seeking someone that is attentive, observational, kind, and enthusiastic, communicates well and is punctual.
Qualifications
Early Childhood Education Level one or higher or willingness to train
CPR/First Aid or willingness to train
Daily Operations:
Ensure daily operation of the center comply and in agreement with guidelines set out by the province, the board, and the executive director.
Other duties as instructed by the Executive Director

Staff Supervision
Provide positive leadership and guidance to team members to facilitate learning and program enhancement.  Provide floor coverage if they require planning time and/or breaks.
Ensure ratios are met.  Direct ECEs as to which children they are responsible for and in which area/room they are to be in.
Be familiar with, model and help encourage positive behaviors of all staff as outlined in the KamKids Daycare Inc Staff Manual
Ensure that Early Childhood Educators are in compliance with KamKids Daycare Inc.s policies and procedures and direct staff accordingly.
Provide support and feedback to staff regarding daily operations.
Provide support and feedback to staff regarding child development.
Ensure all staff are aware of breaks and when to take them.
Provides suggestions, support and positive feedback to staff with a focus on maintaining good staff morale.
