Welders or Apprentice Welders

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, Welder is responsible for fitting, assembling and welding parts and components of a structural nature in accordance with blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions to produce agricultural equipment.

Responsibilities:

*Operation of required measuring instruments  tape measures, micrometer and weld fillet gage.
*Welds components in flat position.
*Complete welds as per company drawings, standards and procedures.
*Recording of process sheets and daily work tickets (interval and first off checks).
*Maintain a clean and organized work area.
*Perform all other work activities as assigned and required.

Education, Experience and Knowledge Required:

*Journeyman Wire Process Operator or Journeyman, Welder (Red Seal or Provincial) or CWB trade certificate
*Grade 12 Diploma or GED equivalency
*Registered Apprentices considered.
*Combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
