Description

The Site Supervisor will work collaboratively with in the management team helping to manage and schedule sub-trades, manage materials on site, ensure a clean and safe jobsite, inspect performance of sub-trades on completion of jobs, perform all duties as required to keep individual projects on time and on budget. Able to solve project related issues collaboratively with the contractor and project manager.
As a Carpenter for Northern Sky, you will be responsible for performing various tasks essential to the preparation and construction of custom homes and other projects. You will collaborate with the entire project team to ensure that all construction is executed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Working daily onsite with the construction crew you will be responsible to set daily and weekly production goals, assign crew task, perform site hazard assessments, intervene to minimize risks, lead daily safety meetings. Working with crewmembers you will ensure best practice performance, and  guide and educate less experienced crew members.

Skills Knowledge and Abilities
-Experience in the construction Industry with excellent knowledge of construction methods and materials
-Skilled in carpentry with varied experience in many stages of the construction.
- Well organized -Ability to schedule and prioritize one's own workload - self directed, self-starter
-Strong work ethics with a commitment to the project
-Sound analytical thinking
-Good communicator
-Must have a valid and clean drivers license
