Description

Responsible for the management of the daily operations of cattle kept in the farm as follows:
Manage Carry out feeding, birthing or calving, tagging or branding, and breeding.
Monitor the herd for signs of illnesses.
Administer medications and work closely with veterinarians.
Keep detailed cattle health, performance and production records.
Implement pasture or pen breeding programs.
Supervise other farm workers.
Select cattle for sale.
May assist in marketing and transporting cattle by trailer.
Manage waste.
Supervise other farm worker.
May handle any additional duties as assigned by the farm owner.
