The Business /Human Resource Manager is responsible for all Business/financial and human resource functions of the school. He/she is responsible to ensure that all Business matters are dealt with in accordance with the Charities Act and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and communicate openly with the Principal, CCS Board & Auditor as to the financial status of the schools current accounts. This position must be ministerial minded and
embrace and promote the mission and values of Cornerstone Christian School.
Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, and or Human Resources with Financial Management is preferred.
A Diploma in Business Management/Finance with Human Resources and or Marketing may be considered with 3-5 years successful Financial and managerial experience.
Experience in educational institutions, non-profit or charity organizations is a significant asset.
Experience developing and implementing policies and best practices is an asset.
Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Operates effectively in a collaborative team environment; establishes a rapport and builds strong relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, proficient in Excel. Can quickly adapt and learn new computer programs.
Self-driven, professional, and positive with a strong and independent work ethic.
Highly organized with the ability to prioritize.
Fosters credibility, integrity, and a high level of confidentiality.
Provides high quality work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Flexible with the ability to adapt and operate effectively in a challenging and changing environment.
