Description

The Honouring Her Spark Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the coordination, implementation, and management of program workplans, goals, and objectives related to Indigenous women's programs. This position will establish and maintain partnerships, engage in innovative facilitation and training delivery methods, and act as a liaison for projects supporting Indigenous women and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and funding requirements for projects related to Indigenous women's programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and reach.
- Conduct assessments to identify gaps in services and program opportunities for Indigenous women and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
- Plan, organize, and execute program events, workshops, and training sessions.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, stakeholders, and partners.
- Facilitate community outreach activities, raise awareness of program services, and advocate for the rights and needs of Indigenous women and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful completion.
- Record and report project data, compile and analyze data for reports and presentations, and develop regular program updates for stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting programs and training sessions.
- Strong written, analytical, interpersonal communication, public speaking, and time management skills.
- Must make positive lifestyle choices, be addiction-free, and serve as a positive role model.
-Current (within 6 months) criminal record check with vulnerable sector check.
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
