To fulfill Pattison Agricultures vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Service Shift Manager to join our fast-paced, energetic, dealership in Swift Current, SK. This role manages, coordinates, and directs the workload of the Service Dept with a high focus on quality of work, effective communication, and Customer Satisfaction.
Responsibilities
This individuals responsibilities include:
- Assign warranty jobs for techs based on skills/knowledge
- Mentoring new techs
- Optimize shop efficiency/flow to avoid lost billable hours
- Effective follow up on repair status
- Identify/execute continuous process improvements
- Back up Mgr in their absence & peak seasons
- Direct/assist in diagnosis/troubleshooting of machine problems with techs/apprentices
- Perform final checks on equipment before start of work order
- Excellent Customer Service consistently above standards
- Assist Service Shift Advisor with repair quotes & accurate record keeping
- Build/maintain constructive co-worker relations, foster strong team dynamics
Requirements
This would be an ideal position if you have:
- Ag Equipment Tech (JDTECH) Journeyperson Cert/equivalent
- Ability to operate vehicles/equipment used for diagnostics
- 5+ years performing complex service repairs/maint
- Expert knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems used in repair of ag/turf equipment
- Ability to lift at least 40 lbs repeatedly; 40-75 lbs on occasion
- Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to use computer systems and applications
