Description

The WDM Saskatoon is seeking a Maintenance  Technician to ensure the Museum's facilities, rental and kitchen spaces, office spaces, equipment and grounds are maintained to a high standard. This position is also responsible for supporting the daily care and upkeep of the buildings, vehicles and equipment including making repairs as required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures the WDMs building, and grounds are maintained through regular inspection and maintenance schedules.
Acts as back up and support for operating and maintaining the buildings boilers and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoots and at times repairs issues with plumbing, lighting, heating, refrigeration and electrical systems.
Undertakes general upkeep of the buildings structures, including supporting cleaning where needed.
Performs small construction or renovation projects in facility areas and office spaces as needed.
Properly documents and reports on day-to-day maintenance and repairs, as well as any safety issues.
Performs closing opening and closing procedures for the Museum as scheduled.
Plans and prioritizes work in consultation with the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor and custodial team to complete a range of assignments.
