Description

Regina Housing is a social housing provider for those most in need in our community. We offer affordable, income-based housing to over 2000 clients. This position is responsible for planning, allocating, and overseeing Regina Housings Modernizations & Improvements budget and related projects.

What you'll do
- Plan, allocate, and oversee a capital budget of $1.5-2 million
- Assess and coordinate the inspection of a 3000-unit housing portfolio to determine short and long term priorities for capital investment
- Complete the tender process for projects according to the organizations process and rules
- Oversee contractors and assess a variety of housing related projects for proper and safe completion
- Maintain the online asset management system and ensure the budget is up to date and reflective of ongoing projects

What you'll need:
A combination of:
- A degree or diploma in civil engineering, construction technology, or construction project management
- 5+ years experience in facilities management, residential construction, property management, mechanical systems, site superintendent or similar.
- Project management experience including pricing, estimating, and supply procurement
- Demonstrated leadership and team building skills, the ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions individually and as a team, and resolve conflict.
- Excellent judgment skills and ability to think analytically.
- Computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office
