Description

Do you love serving people in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy the challenge of multi-tasking with a supportive team? This part-time position is open starting September 15, 2024 and can lead to more opportunities. Training prior to the start date is provided and paid at the listed hourly rate.

HOURS: Saturday and Sunday, 3-11 pm

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Register and check-out guests and take reservations.
Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations & room assignments.
Answer enquiries regarding hotel services, charges, and registration.
Coordinate with housekeeping for room cleaning
Balance cash at the end of shift and generate reports.
Anticipate guests needs or complaints, respond and problem solve promptly.
Must be physically able to complete all extra duties including cleaning and laundry. Other duties include but are not limited to cleaning and stocking the Marketplace bistro, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning glass and dusting.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proven excellence in customer service with guests and co-workers.
Self-motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of responsibility.
Knowledgeable with computers and related peripherals
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
A willing attitude to work and serve guests in a positive environment.  
Effective verbal and listening communication skills in English.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Completion of some high school education
Minimum of 1 year work experience in related occupation preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right individual.
