Description

Nawigizigweyas Education Centre, located twenty kilometers northwest of Kelvington on the Yellow Quill First Nation. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educators to join our team. We are committed to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of our students.

Requirements:
-    Professional A Teaching Certificate.
-    Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff.
-    A deep commitment to fostering an inclusive, culturally sensitive learning environment.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Principal, the Teacher will be responsible for:

-    Ensuring the quality of each student's learning experience.
-    Collaborating with colleagues and administrative authorities.
-    Advancing the educational standards of the school.
-    Participating in educational planning.
-    Participating in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
-    Enhancing professional knowledge and competencies.
Responsibilities:
-    Prepare daily, day plans, unit, and yearly plans aligning with curriculum.
-    Submit copies of unit and yearly plans to administration.
-    Stay informed about new teaching techniques and participate in professional development activities to refine curriculum and improve instructional effectiveness.
-    Ensure the health and safety of students and report any incidents to the Principal.
-    Assessments and monitor student progress.
-    Provide tailored instruction to meet the diverse academic abilities and needs of each student.
