We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and outgoing Receptionist to provide clerical support to the Cultural Program. The ideal candidate will be required to provide a variety of specialized duties to assist and support the LLRIB Health Services programs and services. About the position: Providing general office functions: operate a switch board, typing, operating office equipment, coordinate & distribute incoming mail & supplies.
Duties:
Participate in scheduling staff meetings, records, type and distribute minutes;
Maintain general office supply inventory;
Maintain positive public relations;
Maintain central filing system;
Communicate in a clear, accurate and respectful manner
Order coffee supplies as required for the Health Services administration buildings;
Frequent contact with LLRIBHS staff with information regarding current community needs, program changes and use of resources;
Qualifications:
Minimum Grade 10; training and/or experience in administration or related field preferred (Combination of education and relevant experience may be considered);
Experience and knowledge with computers and office equipment;
Willing to obtain additional training;
Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
Ability to speak/understand Cree is a definite asset;
Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers License;
Experience working with First Nations communities is a definite asset;
