Description

This position is responsible for executing the inbound logistics from our farm customers and working collaboratively with other functions in the business to effectively execute grain shipping programs to meet the needs of end use customers. Strong customer service skills are a must. As part of the administrative team this position will learn and support other administrative functions. You will work to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive workplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with operations team and territory account managers to coordinate logistics for inbound product from farm customers
Professionally communicate with farm customers and schedule inbound deliveries
Coordinate outbound truck logistics with operations team and third parties
Utilization of tools to effectively manage grain quality and coordination of delivery
Contract review and maintenance
Utilize CRM tools to effectively capture and communicate relevant customer information
Track and share harvest sample information
Data entry
Provide coverage for settlement clerk and administrative assistant
General administrative duties
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Proficient in MS Office
Strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must demonstrate honesty and integrity in all business interactions and strives to meet customer needs in a creative and safe manner
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to effectively self-manage, plan, organize and problem solve
Valid drivers license.

Administrative experience
Grain industry knowledge
