One Arrow First Nation Child and Family Well-Being is seeking a highly organized Administrative Assistant to support the department. The ideal candidate will be a detailed professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track expenses and assist with spending reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate records through scanning, filing and data entry.
- Assist with social media advertising and information sharing.
- Handle phone enquiries and ensure messages are delivered promptly.
- Coordinate community events and information table set up.
- Complete activities such as reporting, data entry, document creation/management, filing, arranging meetings and travel as well as other administrative duties.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Run errands, purchase and deliver items to support clients.
- Maintain and organize inventory of supplies and equipment.
- Collecting invoices and receipts.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Grade 12 plus additional education/training in office administration is an asset.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Writing ability, using accurate grammar, spelling, sentence structure and proofreading/editing skills.
- Have a good understanding of the culture and language is a definite asset.
- Must have a valid class 5 driver's license.
- Must provide a current, original Canadian Criminal Record Check (CPIC) with vulnerable sector search as a condition of employment.
