Description

The Operations and Infrastructure Branch of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement requires one highly motivated individual to perform the role of Software Asset Analyst in a large enterprise environment supporting over 12,000 clients. The successful candidates will be responsible for the assignment and maintenance of software licensing information in a fast-paced environment focused on providing world class service. This includes maintaining a tracking system in order to track, report, and audit software assets, and monitoring incoming work in order to ensure clients receive their software in accordance with the defined parameters of their Service Level Agreement. This position will also be responsible for performing audits to validate information contained within electronic systems to ensure the accurate tracking of software assets.

As the successful candidate, you must bring a proven ability to input, update, edit, search, and retrieve data using electronic systems with speed and accuracy. You will be able to clearly communicate to a variety of audiences, verbally and in writing, while maintaining a high level of professionalism. You will be able to effectively share information with others to enhance their working knowledge on various items, such as asset management policies.

You will be attentive to detail, self-motivated, thorough, and quick to learn in order to be successful in this position.

The successful candidates must have knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures, such as asset tracking. You must be familiar with computer applications, such as MS Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows 7, Windows 10, Internet), and have basic knowledge of computer software licensing.
