Description

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement (SBP) is seeking a dynamic, driven leader in the role of Manager, Project Reporting and Coordination.  The role will support the coordination of project forecasting, budgeting, and reporting for IDD ensuring financial accountability and budget utilization within the Project Support Office. This position will analyze budget variances, roll up, and recommend corrective actions as needed.

The position will create and coordinate project plans, establish timelines, and set milestones for project governance. It will also handle correspondence with Executive for government and agencies, providing senior level reporting and documentation.  It will oversee all project invoice processing (invoice amounts are routinely above $50K) and reporting as it relates to invoice payments.

The successful candidate, understands and participates in procurement processes including drafting procurement scopes of requests for qualification and proposal.  Actively participate and evaluate procurements and provide recommendations for the best value for the government. Procurement that this unit deals with are routinely over $500K.

We are looking for a leader who demonstrates ability to work independently and empoweringly, as well as participate and contribute productively in a team environment, taking into consideration changing priorities and tight deadlines.

A highly communicative skillset  with demonstrated experience formatting, proofreading and/or editing, and distributing a variety of correspondence such as letters, memos, briefing notes, tables, presentations, minutes, contracts/agreements and other documents for with varying level of audiences as required. Communicating the rationale behind strategic decisions, addressing resistance, and guiding teams through transitions.
