Description

Restorex Disaster Restoration provides property restoration for residential, commercial and industrial clients. We specialize in emergency services for water, fire and smoke restoration. We are now hiring a finish carpenter that is skilled and experienced in building cabinets in our shop.  We are looing for a safety minded individuals who take pride in their work to join our Regina Rebuild team.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Measure/ make and install cabinets/ Toe kicks/ Gable ends etc. on site and in the shop.
- able to stain match an asset
-Ensure company policies and procedures, including health and safety, are being followed
-Practices good housekeeping discipline and organization.
-Displays good manners and attitude towards property owners, subcontractors, and fellow employees
-Accepts direction from Project Managers and Site Supervisors
-Coaches and assists other department members with job tasks

Knowledge and Skills:
- Finish journeyman carpenter an asset.
- Minimum 2-year experience in cabinet assembly and installation
- General knowledge of types of wood. (Oak/ Maple, and other cabinet materials)
-General knowledge of stain matching a must.
-Experience in measuring/ organizing and planning detail to build cabinets.
-Experience knowledge of tools of the trade including table saws, routers, planers/ sanders etc.
-Ability to work independently and be organized
-Possess problem solving skills

Additional Requirements:
-Must have a valid drivers license and be bondable
-Provide a criminal record check and drivers abstract
