Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the well-being and safety of all children enrolled in the centre.
Implement inclusive practices and programming to ensure all children participate throughout the centre.
Plan and implement programming appropriate to the developmental level of the children which embraces the vision and principals of Play and Exploration: Early Learning and Program guide
Assist children with all necessary care routines (ex: diapering, toileting, hygiene, etc)
Communicate and collaborate with families, colleagues, Centre Director, and the community to support high quality child care
maintain professionalism and confidentiality inside and outside of the workplace
Display and promote a positive atmosphere
Provide opportunities for all children to play indoors and outdoors each day
Complete all necessary cleaning duties to maintain and clean and healthy
Work as a team with all other Happy Hearts educators
Experience:
Experience working in childcare
Experience supporting the needs of all children in an inclusive environment
Mandatory Requirements:
Willingness to further ECE training requirements to meet certification
Willingness to attend workshops or training
Possession or willingness to obtain first aid and CPR certification Level C
A criminal record search including a vulnerable sectors check
Tuberculin Test (TB)
