Description

Saskatoon Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP) is a community-based organization providing leadership, and resources towards preventing, reducing, and ending homelessness in Saskatoon.  SHIP is the Community Entity for Reaching Home: Canadas Homelessness Strategy.

The Reaching Home Sub Project Coordinator is responsible to provide administrative support in the delivery of the Reaching Home Program.

Supports the Call For Proposal (CFP) process by conducting risk assessments of proposals, developing an executive summary of the proposed project, negotiate project budgets with funded projects and draft contribution agreements to be approved by Reaching Home Operations Manager.
Cconducts as required on site monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and activity monitors for funded projects and note project financial and activity challenges.
Tracks, and processes monthly project claims. Works with the project proponent to ensure compliance with the contribution agreement.
Ensures funded projects provide the required reporting and submission of data to support quarterly, annual, or other reporting requirements.
Ensures project compliance with the Homelessness Individual and Family Information System (HIFIS) and the Coordinated Access.
Works in compliance with SHIP policies and procedures and SHIP organizational structure.
Other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

A relevant post secondary degree/diploma in a related discipline e.g., community development, indigenous studies, social services, planning, Business Administration or Commerce Degree
Extensive experience in project analysis, administration, monitoring and evaluation
Ability to communicate complex issues both in written and verbal formats
Experience interacting with the community organizations, funders, and stake holders
