About the Position

As the Architectural Technologist, you will work closely with the Architect to provide architectural drafting services for residential, commercial, and mixed-use construction projects in Saskatchewan. Part of the responsibilities are to submit permit applications, perform site inspections, review specifications, and prepare working drawings and construction documentation for various projects.

You are to keep abreast of industry regulatory and compliance changes and ensure that all projects meet and exceed requirements. You are a stickler for details and ensure that all shop drawings comply with architectural drawings. Your excellent organizational ability ensures you are on top of all project documentation and contract administration. Innovative by nature, you consistently look for new and different approaches to your work to capitalize on efficiencies.

To prepare for this role, you have completed a building, engineering or architectural technology program and have 2+ years of experience. Eligibility for designation as an AScT is preferred but not required. Proficiency in Revit, Autocad, MS Office and Adobe software is required.
