Description

The RM of Lake Lenore No. 399 invites applicants to apply for the position of Seasonal Operator / General Laborer. Start date is flexible approx. August 26 or sooner for training if applicant is successful. Term will conclude approx. October 31, 2024. The position may be extended or shortened depending on weather conditions.

Primary duties will include:
    Reporting to and taking direction from Foreman
    Operating and maintaining municipal equipment, mainly tractor and mower, as required
    Ensuring municipal vehicles and equipment are operated in a safe manner
    Maintaining daily log records of activities performed
    Manual labour as required (sign installation, culvert maintenance, removing brush, shop and yard maintenance, picking up parts, servicing equipment, etc.)

Applicant must:
    Possess a valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving abstract
    Be able to lift up to 45 kg (100 lb)
    Be willing to be supervised by and take direction from Foreman
    Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
