Family Service Regina has an 80% FTE opening for Domestic Violence Case Worker. This is a combined position which includes casework and intervention services for victims of intimate partner and family violence as well as with our Older Adult Response Services (OARS) program. OARS is a specialized program for vulnerable seniors experiencing abuse or neglect from an intimate partner or family member.
The successful applicant will possess superior communication and caseload management skills. Working with a diverse clientele as well as the ability to contribute to a safe, non-judgmental service-delivery environment are essential. The successful candidate will be adaptable in approach, well organized and proficient in time-management. The candidate will have a strong aptitude for crisis intervention and advocacy work. The ability to work effectively in demanding and stressful situations is required.
Prior understanding of gender-based violence, understanding of abuse of older adults and knowledge of the criminal and civil justice systems are preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with a BSW, BISW, BHJ, or equivalent within a human services field.

Hours: 80% FTE (averaging 28 hours per week), including some after-hours flexibility
Salary: $29.07 - $34.21 per hour
$3527 - $4150 per month (80% FTE)
