Woodridge Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Office Assistant/Receptionist or Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our close-knit team. We are moving to a brand new and larger location October 1st in the Meadows, near the Rosewood community of Saskatoon. Our clinic offers a positive team dynamic, we celebrate our employees throughout the year with tokens of appreciation, there is no on-call work, and we will be closed weekends. The individual we are looking for should be motivated, a quick learner, and should be able to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers. We are looking for someone with a caring demeanor who will treat our clients and patients with respect and empathy, which we, in return, expect from our clients. Experience in the veterinary setting is an asset, but not required. Specific duties include but are not limited to: Answering phone calls, booking appointments, retail sales, light cleaning, interacting with clients, communicating with veterinarians and veterinary technicians, using basic computer software, minor animal handling, etc. Benefits, which include veterinary care/pet food at cost and a health plan, are available to full time employees after the probation period.  We are looking to fill a full time permanent position, as well as a 1-year maternity leave position.
