We are seeking a dynamic, team oriented, and mature individual who is able to:
Meet the Reliability Security Clearance and building access criteria of the RCMP;
Complete routine office administrative tasks such as answering phone, filing, data entry, etc;
Research case related information and create/update client files;
Type various documents and compose/send routine correspondence;
Compile and submit monthly statistical reports;
Responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping duties with the aid of a computerized accounting system (Sage50) to process bills and payroll for salaried employees (Ceridian);
Work with the volunteers to create monthly on-call schedules;
Assist the Coordinator and Board in preparing information/reports required for the quarterly board meetings;
Attend the quarterly Board of Director meetings as minute taker;
Maintain a positive program image in the community;
Order office supplies;
Notify the Victims Services Coordinator if they are charged with or under investigation for any criminal offences;
Other duties as assigned;
Take an Oath of Confidentiality in conjunction with security clearance and maintain confidentiality as required by the Freedom of Information Act and The Privacy Act; and
Adhere to the Gateway Regional Victim Services Program Policy and Code of Ethics.
