We are seeking an Adult Education Facilitator to support instructors in delivering Adult Basic Education (Adult 10-12 curriculum) program in Zagime Anishinabek First Nation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support both teachers and students in "Live Online" courses to enhance learning and help students successfully complete their programs.
- Assist students with computer use and other technology.
- Monitor student progress, including overseeing tests and exams.
- Manage and distribute instructional materials as needed.
- Help with classroom demonstrations.
- Provide individual or group tutorials, both in and out of the classroom, to address student needs.
- Complete required reporting tasks.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 diploma with at least one year of relevant post-secondary education.
- Preference for candidates with an Educational Assistant certificate or a Bachelor of Education degree.
- Minimum of one year experience as an Educational Assistant.
- Experience or training in adult education and cross-cultural learning environments is a plus.
