The Water Security Agency is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join the Infrastructure Engineering team.
Reporting to the Manager, Engineering Assessment, an employee in this job will provide geotechnical engineering support in the investigation, risk assessment, operation, maintenance, monitoring and assessment, design, construction, and rehabilitation of the WSAs water management assets.
Duties and responsibilities will primarily focus on the evaluation of geotechnical monitoring data and other oce and eld activities to assess the performance and condition on WSAs structures; Assist in geotechnical investigations for construction and rehabilitation of dams and other water management infrastructure; Provide support in the development and implementation of geotechnical engineering criteria; Assist in providing support to dam operations and maintenance and dam safety activities.
The successful candidate must possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline and registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geosciences of Saskatchewan (APEGS). Applicants will be assessed based on relevant experience.
