ABOUT QBQW CFS INC.: We are a growing Indigenous community-based organization, serving four Indigenous communities of children, youth, families & Elders. Our Vision is to build communities of strong, healthy, successful Indigenous people and families connected to each other and to their roots by fostering their health & well-being through culturally relevant services, support, and advocacy.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Post Majority Support Worker will be a highly motivated individual who will work with youth & young adults to meet their care plan goals and achieve a satisfactory level of wellness and family functioning. They will be required to work with aligning departments such as Protection and Prevention ensuring services are delivered, in accordance with legislation, regulations, policies and accepted practice standards. They will support the safety and well-being of youth and young adults aging out of care up to the age of 26. They will assist youth and young adults to connect to internal and external services and resources including connections to family and the community. Post majority care services are aimed to help prioritize safety and support through the assistance of a service provider that can help navigate inclusive and individual well-being journey.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma in Indigenous Social Work/Social Work
3 Years experience working with Indigenous Families in crisis with demonstrated facilitation experience
Valid Class 5 Drivers License
Submission of current CPIC & Vulnerable Sector Check
