Job Summary:
Oversees corporate cash management, credit administration, and investment portfolio analysis. Monitors investments performance and acts as the primary point of contact for Investment Managers and Consultants. Assist senior staff with preparing materials and reports for senior management and Board of Directors. Research economic trends and investment opportunities. Provides financial planning and analysis in the conduct of daily treasury activities.
Qualifications:
Post secondary degree in Business Administration/Commerce or equivalent AND a finance designation (CFA or equivalent designation).
Over four years experience in accounting/finance demonstrating the following abilities:
Strong understanding of investment concepts, financial markets and portfolio management.
Knowledge of banking.
Knowledge of on-line accounting software such as Oracle Financials.
Strong knowledge of Excel.
Ability to make decisions and work independently with minimum supervision.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Candidates must have a financial designation and be a member to a Canadian chapter.
