The Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations Inc. (SAHO) is a non-profit, non-government association which provides a variety of services to Health Sector Employers throughout the province. As the Designated Employers Organization (DEO), SAHO Inc., acts as the health sector employers bargaining agent. SAHO leads collective bargaining and provides interpretation, arbitrations services, administers classification and job evaluation programs, as well as data analytics and compensation services for the health sector.
The Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations Inc. requires a full-time Specialist in the Classification and Job Evaluation department. This position reports to the Director, Classification and Job Evaluation.
The Specialist is responsible for collecting, analyzing and evaluating position data necessary for applying the Classification and Job Evaluation plans. The Specialist is also responsible for providing professional, technical and functional guidance to unions and employers in the application, implementation and maintenance of job evaluation methodologies and programs.
This ideal candidate will possess:
A degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management with two years experience, including one year in the field of job evaluation.
Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan.
Exemplary written skills to articulate clear and concise concepts.
The ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders through respectful and professional interactions with Unions and Employer representatives.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong commitment to working in a team-based environment.
Prior to being offered the position with SAHO, the selected candidate will be required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check.
