Description

Provides business process analysis and ongoing quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity of clinical information systems. Provides support and training to users of clinical information systems. Secondary duties include supporting the health information services with various HIM related duties.

Qualifications:

Health Information Management diploma

Certified with Canadian College of Health Information Management (CCHIM)

Registration with Canadian Health Information Management Association (CHIMA)

Previous: Twelve (12) months previous experience with data quality and data standards in clinical information systems

Intermediate to advanced computer literacy

Intermediate skills with Microsoft office products including Microsoft excel and Microsoft word

Strong analytical skills

Communication skills

Intermediate written skills

Organizational skills

Interpersonal skills

Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

Ability to work and learn independently

Valid drivers license, where required by the job

Note: applicants must successfully complete Microsoft office pre-employment testing for Microsoft excel
