Description

We are seeking professional and safety-conscious Owner-Operator Flatbed Drivers to transport goods using  Flatbed Driver / Step deck / Lowboy trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to delivering cargo on time while adhering to all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
    Transport Cargo: Safely and efficiently transport goods using flatbed trailers to various destinations.
    Load and Unload: Secure and tarp loads, ensuring proper weight distribution and compliance with regulations. Assist with loading and unloading as needed.
    Inspect Equipment: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer, ensuring they are in good working condition.
    Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records.
    Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professional and courteous interactions with clients during pickups and deliveries.
    Maintenance: Keep the truck and trailer clean and in good working order. Schedule and perform routine maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:
    Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a flatbed driver.
    CDL: Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
    Clean Driving Record: No major violations or accidents in the past three years.
    Equipment: Own a reliable truck and flatbed trailer that meet DOT standards.
    Knowledge: Familiarity with load securement techniques and DOT regulations.
    Physical Fitness: Ability to handle physical tasks, including securing loads and tarping.
    Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
