Description

Assist residents with bathing, grooming, and dressing according to their individual care plan.
Encourage and assist residents to participate in activities and exercises designed to enhance their physical and mental well-being.
Prepare and serve meals to residents in the dining area following a pre-planned menu.
Encourage and assist residents to eat their meals and drink adequate amounts of fluids to ensure proper nutrition and hydration.
Perform regular housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Maintain daily records of residents, noting any changes in their condition or behavior.
Properly record and report any incidents or emergencies to the supervisor to ensure appropriate follow-up and care.
Collaborate effectively with other staff members to provide comprehensive care and support to residents.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Certification in Home Support or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a caregiving role, particularly in a residential care setting, is an asset.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient with a genuine interest in supporting the well-being of residents.
Ability to lift and move residents as needed.
Stamina to perform housekeeping duties and assist with physical activities.
Capability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
