What youll do:
The IT Support Specialist is knowledgeable in IT systems and is comfortable talking about technology in a way that users can understand. They will conduct small onsite fixes that do not require a Level 2 Technician. They will assist the department on the front line for receiving support requests, creating and maintaining support tickets, taking care of first level support issues when possible and answering incoming phone calls to the Helpdesk. They will escalate and assign tickets to higher level technicians as required and provide assistance as required to help on projects. This role is primarily based out of our administration office but will assist in the field when required.
