The Saskatoon Friendship Inn is a high energy fast paced work environment, serving from 1000 1400 meals a day to our vulnerable neighbours in need.
The Cook II takes direction from and works collaboratively with the Head Cook to ensure food quality standards and speed of service are consistently met. The Cook II is the designated lead in the kitchen when the Head Cook is not scheduled; this leadership role ensures all matters directly related to kitchen performance are aligned to the SFI goals and the Head Cooks expectations.

Qualifications/Experience:
Training or certification in culinary arts preferred.
Minimum of two years experience in a commercial kitchen, with demonstrated capacity in offering leadership.
Food Safe Certificate, WHMIS training.
Scheduling:
Cook II role will involve weekend coverage to offset the Head Cook (over the 7-day week).
Typical schedule includes 5 consecutive shifts from 6:30am to 2:45pm.
