The Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch is seeking an experienced pharmacist for the role of Senior Pharmaceutical Policy Analyst. In this role, you will provide pharmaceutical expertise to support the Branch in its programs and initiatives.

Reporting to the Manager, Drug Review & Appropriateness, you will represent the branch through a number of provincial and national drug review and optimal use drug use initiatives.
  
Our ideal candidate will have:

- Experience with the programs and initiatives that the Branch delivers, and be familiar with the national and provincial drug review processes;
- Knowledge of critical drug appraisal methods, information management systems, stakeholder engagement strategies, Pharmacoeconomics, the evolving health care environment and the pharmaceutical industry;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Knowledge and experience in negotiations, and project management combined with solid analytical and organizational skills, are an asset; and
- A strong background in clinical pharmacy and be licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals.

Typically, knowledge for this position would be obtained through a pharmacy degree and several years of relevant professional experience in pharmacy or other health-related environments.
